Who are we? bloomon is turning the flower industry on its head – for the better. How? By disrupting the traditional supply chain, where most florists operate offline and have done for decades. bloomon creates seasonal collections using unusual stems to deliver unique flower arrangements on repeat. We always use field-fresh high-quality flowers straight from the grower and deliver to our customers through a high-tech and highly creative platform. Our e-commerce company launched in Amsterdam in 2014 and went from start-up to scale-up at hypersonic speed. We are already active in six countries: the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, UK, France and Denmark. Next step? to conquer Europe… and then the world. Our goal? To become the first global flower brand in the lifestyle segment, filling hearts and homes with happiness. One bouquet at a time.

Hoe ziet je werk er uit?

What will you do? First of all, you are responsible for our daily production planning, stock planning and production analytics. Based on the actual orders and the forecast, pickup times of our transport partners, the capacity of the production lines and the inbound delivery, you´ll make the most efficient production planning. Therefore it is important to communicate with different internal stakeholders, such as production supervisors, frequently. In case there is a delay in the production process it is your task to solve the problem and minimise the delay. You realise this by making quick decisions and change the production planning. After production, you will analyse the production process and create new ways to improve the efficiency and quality.There are several projects to work on, like running RFP’s for key suppliers and coordinating overall supply chain planning. At bloomon there’s never a dull moment! Your effort makes sure that thousands of people in different countries can enjoy a beautiful bouquet every day!  

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Make daily production planning
  • Preparation of production
  • Forecasting of demand
  • Gather data/metrics and provide daily and weekly performance reporting

Wie ben jij?

Who are you? You are an analytical problem solver. When somethings goes wrong you know how to analyse the problem and offer a solution. You have a structured approach to work, are able to plan ahead and keep an overview. You are also very detail oriented, precise and now how to handle great responsibility. You get excited by a big challenge and are at your best when things start to get difficult.

Other requirements:

  • 1-3 years working experience in a warehouse, production or logistical environment
  • Experienced in working with planning is a plus
  • BSc or MSc degree
  • A driver license
